Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET-LAW)
The State CET Cell in Maharashtra conducts the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law, a state-level entrance exam. This test is designed to grant admission to both the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programs offered at various law colleges in Maharashtra. It is conducted annually for students aspiring to pursue these courses. Successful candidates will be selected for approximately 10,920 seats in the 5-year LLB program and around 16,420 seats in the 3-year LLB program. MH CET Eligibility Criteria It is essential for individuals who are aspiring to appear for MH CET exam to have a comprehensive understanding of the eligibility requirements. The subsequent information outlines the specific criteria for MH CET exam eligibility:
- The candidates applying for the 5-year LLB admission test should have qualified Class 12 from a recognized board and institution.
- In order to be considered eligible, the candidates need to have achieved a minimum of 45% marks in their qualifying exam. ST and SC category candidates must have scored at least 40% marks.
- Whereas the SBC, VJNT and OBC category candidates should have scored a minimum of 42% in the qualifying exam.
